We have recently welcomed new friends from Spain into our Boarding Home and we have been out and about over the last few weeks, sharing local delights of Dorset, including visiting the Olympic Rings on Portland and spending time on our award winning beach in Weymouth!

This weekend we enjoyed making the most of some unusual good weather on a British bank holiday weekend to enjoy exploring the outdoors. On Saturday we visited Moors Valley Country Park, with a miniature gauge steam railway to ride on and lots of swings and things to play on. We also had a lovely walk through the forest hunting for wildlife. On Sunday we visited the seaside town of Lyme Regis, and had a restful time sitting by the sea enjoying an ice cream in the sunshine. We had a picnic on the beach and wandered around the shops before returning to school for a traditional English roast dinner.

It is so nice to see all our new friends settling in so well and having so much fun.
