"I grew up in North Wales with my Grandmother and two older brothers.  My proudest moment was gaining a Scholarship at the age of ten to the former ‘Lowther College’ at Bodelwyddan Castle.  I went on to achieve a B.Ed Hons from Bangor University.  I moved to Weymouth in 1994 and began working at Thornlow in 1999.  I love teaching children to read and am passionate about helping children to fulfil their potential.

I am married and have two sons and one daughter.  I am a classically trained singer, but have ‘retired’ from singing.  I also enjoy cooking and my favourite television programme is ‘University Challenge’!"
