"I was first educated at Edge Grove and Aldenhman School before spending two years teaching in The Falkland Islands from 1977 to 1979.  I graduated from Exeter University in 1983 and was Head of R.E at Bow School, Durham between 1983 and 1987.  I went on to teach at Felsted School between 1987 to 1991 and took on an appointment at Clifton College from 1991 to 1992.

Between 1992 and 1997 I was Housemaster at Thornlow Preparatory School, taking on the position of Headmaster from 1998.  I am a keen sailor.

I strongly believe in developing the whole person and believe that an empowered child can go on to achieve great things.  I want to ensure that every voice is heard; every child matters and every child's opinion matters. I want to ensure that every child fully appreciates every instance of every experience.
