Y1-8 made the most of the chance to go on a Wildlife Safari trip to Longleat Safari Park. My favourite thing: feeding the seals - Sierra. The Adventure Park - Billy. The Safari Coach Ride - Kate. The Deadly 60 Challenge - James. My favourite animal: cheetah - Sadhana; tiger - Nathaniel; the elephant - Ruby.

Today Years 7&8 learnt how to make salts during their Chemistry lesson. The group started off by heating copper carbonate, filtering it to obtain a copper sulphate solution.

Today we dissected a sheep's internal organs! We looked at the way food moved down the oesophagus by inserting a marble and simulating peristalsis! "This was a real hands on experience, it was amazing" said Oliver!

Year 7&8 were exploring electromagnetism in their Science lesson this week.

At home I have a microscope and I looked in my water butt and took out a water sample which I then examined under my microscope.

Year 1 & 2 have been learning about teeth in their Science lesson. A visit to a dental practice in Dorchester brought our classroom activities to life!
